Flatout 2 is a driving / racing style of game. Most driving / racing games are some sort of competition, and can be on land, sea, air, or outer space. In some racing games the is either 1st person in the cockpit or 3rd person such as a chase cam, while other games allow you to switch freely between the two views. Racing games are considered sports games.
When you are playing Flatout 2 you might need to forward some ports in your router. Forwarding ports is a useful trick in gaming because it can really help to make your network connection most stable and sometimes even faster. Routers were not designed to allow incoming network requests and some games can play tremendously better if an incoming connection is forwarded through the router to the game.
Flatout 2 is a racing game made by Bugbear entertainment. The main draw of the game is the destructible environments and the fact that the driver of every car is a ragdoll, which is used in many of the various mini-game levels.

Widescreen IssuesWhen running in 16:10 and 16:9 resolutions, the 2D elements of the main menu and pre-race menus are stretched, and the car in the vehicle selection menu is Vert-.The FMV cutscenes that appear when you start up the game are still stretched, due to being originally created for a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Flatout 2 is a multi-platform racing game developed by Bugbear Entertainment which sends you into a world of races, money and destructive mayhem. You will have to compete against 7 adversaries each with his own car preferences and racing style in order to earn the title of champion at the end of the racing tournament.
The gameplay, as in any other racing game offers a career mode, which you must beat in order to obtain new vehicles and tracks, the quick race mode which is pretty self-explanatory and last but not least features an online multiplayer component where you can compete against friends and/or other players.
In order to win you will need to buy new cars and upgrade them with different car parts that become unlockable as you progress in the game. There are also 3 different categories for cars. First would be the Derby category; old, used but durable cars, very good in Derby races but slow otherwise. The second category is made of Race cars; better than the Derby cars and also pretty durable, they are balanced when it comes to speed an durability. Last there is the Street category; shiny cars which reach high speeds very fast but aren't as durable as the previously mentioned classes.
The soundtrack of FlatOut 2 consists in a very good mix of punk, hard rock and metal songs, which contribute perfectly to the game's destructive atmosphere. The songlist is as follows (in alphabetic order of artist):
Installation:1. Unzip J89_trackapck_1_1.zip and put J89_trackpack_1_1.bfs into your Flatout2 game folder.2. Open "patch" and write J89_trackpack_1_1.bfs under patch1.bfs. If you don't have "patch" open "filesystem" and write J89_trackpack_1_1.bfs under fo2c.bfs.
You must get familiar with how to install this mod, by using the notrackai program first. If you do not set up the no track ai, then you will see the new track and setup but be on the original stock game race route.
FlatOut two (8.58 GB) is a Racing, Sports movie game. Developed by Bugbear Entertainment and released by Strategy First. It premiered on 1 Aug, 2006 for Windows. DRIVING THIS RECKLESS IS NO ACCIDENT! However, you may want to create a couple. In such high-speed races, the more damage you inflict, the greater. The Greatest in turbo-charged cars along with also the craziest rival drivers are awaiting check your best destructive series
Nonetheless, this revolutionary series went on to frame the way that its successors, including FlatOut 2, worked. Soon after, games like Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8 rightly found fame among banger racing enthusiasts who wanted more of a game world to explore, though it was two rival titles in particular that really made headlines for the right reasons.
Then there was the criminally underrated 1999 one-off Demolition Racer: an immensely refined Infogrames game that shifted the balance back to the importance of racing. In its main mode, points were awarded for both race position and the amount of damage doled out to opponents on the track (e.g. 10 points for a light tap, 25 points for spinning an opponent 360 degrees).
It was the strengths and weaknesses of these games that set the standard for what was to come. Carmageddon was the upstart with a sense of humor, a flagrant attitude to safety and a solid damage model (including lost wheels, damaged engines and more). Demolition Racer had wonderfully tight racing, a strong progression system and visual clout.
